These two “interest groups” – I can barely suppress snorting derisively over that phrase – have been on a headlong collision course for decades, which came to a head with the financial collapse and bailouts. Where there is massive concentrations of wealth and influence, there will be abuse of power. The Individual has been supplanted in the political process nearly entirely by corporate money, legislative influence, campaign contributions, even free speech rights.

http://www.ritholtz.com/blog/2010/09/you-vs-corporations/Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5724181159639068489.post-12110258368532374192010-09-27T18:29:54.591-04:002010-09-27T18:29:54.591-04:00Anonymous, Max (above) really lays it on the line-...Anonymous, Max (above) really lays it on the line--with anger!JRnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5724181159639068489.post-36798899844064874482010-09-27T15:37:29.526-04:002010-09-27T15:37:29.526-04:00Keiser Report” teaser: Not enough bailouts: ‘Suck ...Keiser Report” teaser: Not enough bailouts: ‘Suck it in and cope!’

http://tinyurl.com/2777j2lAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
