...Justice For All
If we believe in American and American Justice then we must believe that one day the banksters of Wall Street will be brought to justice. I, for one believe even though at times it seems improbable. Often I have thought that justice would be served long after I am gone (I have been given an extension of life by my doctors but they would not offer a guarantee).
Persistence, however, in keeping the effort alive and in front of people like you -our audience - will make it happen much sooner then later. I truly believe I will be around to see it.
Main stream media has a very short attention span. What was yesterdays news remains in yesterday. I would love to see a cable network devoted to a 24/7 exposure of Goldman Sachs and the bankster cartel. It seems difficult to fill 24/7 programming thus all the repetition. On the GoldmanSachs666 cable channel the repitition would be limited. There is plenty of material for programming. Crime TV - now TruTV could use the competition. The more we hear about the crimes and illegal behaviors of this very well organized and ongoing criminal activity the more our lawmakers and enforcers will have to pay attention.
All empires seem to fall eventually. Corporate empires have never been immune to failure either. The airline industry had giants that fell, the auto industry the same and even Big Blue (IBM) has lost much of its luster.
The shine is also wearng off on Wall Street as evidenced by several of the articles linked above. There are those who do not forget and those - like us - who feel the story needs to continue to be told.
I applaud those in media and in government who are not afraid to stand up to stand up and be counted. Those who are not afraid of tarnishing their careers or ruffling powerful feathers.
Be patient my fellow Americans. Justice will ultimately prevail. Bernie Madoff will have many cell mates with whom to share their stories of their arrogant and often times very visible criminal activities.
