Fraud*
According to the Collins English Dictionary 10th Edition fraud can be defined as: "deceit, trickery, sharp practice, or breach of confidence, perpetrated for profit or to gain some unfair or dishonest advantage".[1] In the broadest sense, a fraud is an intentional deception made for personal gain or to damage another individual; the related adjective is fraudulent. The specific legal definition varies by legal jurisdiction. Fraud is a crime, and also a civil law violation. Defrauding people or entities of money or valuables is a common purpose of fraud, but there have also been fraudulent "discoveries", e.g. in science, to gain prestige rather than immediate monetary gain

Who Owns Our Politicians? Goldman Sachs

Corporations are people too.  So says our supreme Supreme Court.  As such they can donate as much as they want to politicians. Does this sound right to any of you?

So what do you think Goldman Sachs wants to elect as our next President?

In Contrast...look at these stats from the 2008 campaign cycle

Human Events Top 10 Politicians Receiving Donations from Goldman Sachs
by Human Events
04/25/2010
(Based on Federal Election Commission filings during the 2008 election cycle)

1.  Sen. Barack Obama (presidential candidate)  $996,595
2.  Sen. Hillary Clinton (presidential candidate)  $411,150
3.  Mitt Romney (presidential candidate)   $234,275
4.  Sen. John McCain (presidential candidate)  $230,095
5.  Rep. Jim Himes (D.-Conn.)    $155,098
6.  Sen. Chris Dodd (D.-Conn.)    $112,500
7.  Rudy Giuliani (presidential candidate)    $111,750
8.  John Edwards (presidential candidate)    $66,450
* 9.  Sen. Arlen Specter (R.-Pa.)    $47,600
10.  Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D.-Ill.)    $37,750
*Specter became a Democrat in 2009

You know the old saying, "a picture is worth a thousand words". Hmmm, is there any correlation here to the contributions (purchases) they are making now?  Is Romney their new choice for continued unregulated fleecing of America?  Perhaps.  As Romney says, he is a business man not a Washington insider.  But he sure wants to become one and possibly with the aid of large corporate dollars like we are already seeing, he will become the insider.

Not a pretty picture.

Former President Thomas Jefferson, we have a problem.

The political system you were instrumental in forming is being quickly destroyed.  We are in a revolution that aims to destroy the Republic you and you fellow patriots envisioned and formed.  The "more perfect union" has crumbled.

Let's look at the most recent issue - that of maintaining the tax cut benefits for the masses as opposed to the classes whose tax breaks have not been touched.

There is but one issue at play here and that is the extension of the tax cut for the middle class and below... period...end of conversation.

We have a benefit that will affect millions of struggling Americans if not extended.  Why in the name of our Republic does this debate have to include ANYTHING else?

Ladies and gentlemen of Congress, you are charged with the obligation of protecting our liberties and freedom as well as protecting our ability to survive within our economy.  Your job is to do what is right for "The People".

To muddle a vote on such an important decision with other non emergency issues like pipelines, medicare cuts or anything else is just plain un American or better yet, just plain absurd.  The actions of both parties fighting for their personal positions with no respect or regard for the American people who they work for to me borders on Treason.

Both Democrats and Republicans are playing the same game here and both are working against what is right for "The People".  The People...remember?

So why is all this relevant to the topic here?  Because at play is the money being donated to various politicians.  While no specific instructions are printed in the memo section of the checks you can be sure that somewhere over some dinner - that costs more then the average person will save on their taxes next year if the extension is passed - the corporate invisible donators are making their positions clear.  The recipients of these donations somewhere along the line are getting the message.

The Senate voting on the band aid fix is politicking.  The House demanding the full one year extension held hostage by other non important issues at this point in time is politicking.  All of Congress is in the game for their own personal gain at the expense, harm and detriment of The American People.  To me this is Treason.

In addition, those corporations "buying" their way to increased wealth transfer at the expense of the average American are also complicit in treason let alone the treasonous acts they performed to get this country and all of us into this position.

In addition, propaganda, a word once mostly associated with the Soviet Union is used so much here by our government that it makes the propaganda in the old Soviet Union seem trivial.

We are being fed BS.  Case in point, the housing market report the other day saying that that indicator of pending prosperity was on the rise.  All news media reported on it.  As a result, the stock market surged over 300 points and who do you thing profited most from this?  You guessed it, the likes of Goldman Sachs and the band of merry banksters.

After the rally, the report - which did not appear to have the same presence in the media - was changed.  A downward revision is pending - as it seems it always is after a phony report.  But too late.  The profit was made and undoubtedly, some of that money will be used to buy more influence from our politicians and perhaps even buy continued control of our government.

Bankers Are Using the Eurozone Crisis to Wage Warfare on Working People and Seize Control of Governments
Wages and living standards are to be scaled back and political power shifted from elected government to technocrats governing on behalf of big banks and financial institutions.

The idea of normal wage-earners being obliged to forfeit their pensions to pay for tax evaders – and for the general un-taxing of wealth since the regime of the colonels – makes most people understandably angry. For the ECB, EU and IMF “troika” to say that whatever the wealthy take, steal or evade paying must be made up by the population at large is not a politically neutral position. It comes down hard on the side of wealth that has been unfairly taken.

A democratic tax policy would reinstate progressive taxation on income and property, and would enforce its collection – with penalties for evasion. Ever since the 19th century, democratic reformers have sought to free economies from waste, corruption and “unearned income.” But the ECB “troika” is imposing a regressive tax – one that can be imposed only by turning government policy-making over to a set of unelected “technocrats.”

Ann Barnhardt Discusses MF Global with Peter Schiff - "There Is No Rule of Law Anymore"

There are some interesting facts brought out in this discussion. I do not necessarily agree with everything she says, and she is obviously outraged, and Peter Schiff is promoting his agenda. This leads to a rather comical exchange between her and Peter towards the end regarding the proposed boycott of the financial industry.

The way the government, the Exchange, the Court, the CFTC and Wall Street treated the MF Global customers after their money was stolen is an absolute disgrace.

And in this perhaps is a cautionary tale for the rest of us who might not have been affected directly by this particular episode.

Michael Olenick: The Administration Likes Foxes in Charge of Henhouses – Proof that OCC Foreclosure Reviews Are a Sham

By Michael Olenick, founder and CEO of Legalprise, and creator of FindtheFraud, a crowd sourced foreclosure document review system (still in alpha)

That is, OCC chief John Walsh signed off on hiring Allon to audit her prior work for fraud.

Let’s repeat that; the OCC — an arm of President Obama’s Treasury
Department — signed off, allowing a company founded and managed by the
woman who created Aurora’s foreclosure practices to audit her own firm’s work, and did so pursuant to a consent order
and under the guise of consumer protection. Allonhill, the firm that
promulgated and enforced foreclosure policies, is based less than a mile
away from the address listed for Murrayhill, the firm auditing for
foreclosure fraud on behalf of borrowers.

Until now there has been a mountain of circumstantial evidence that the Obama administration
has been comfortable with foreclosure fraud. There is the conspicuous
lack of prosecutions, unwarranted and unwelcome intervention in the
50-state Attorney General review, and references that infer robosigning
is a “victimless” crime. But, until this disclosure, there has been no
solid evidence the federal government is actively covering up
bank-perpetrated fraud.

This arrangement clarifies that the Federal Government, at the
highest levels, are comfortable, or even arguably complicit, covering up
foreclosure fraud.

A Christmas Message From America's Rich

POSTED: December 22, 9:05 AM ET

It seems America’s bankers are tired of all the abuse. They’ve decided to speak out.

True, they’re doing it from behind the ropeline, in front of friendly
crowds at industry conferences and country clubs, meaning they don’t
have to look the rest of America in the eye when they call us all
imbeciles and complain that they shouldn’t have to apologize for being
so successful.

But while they haven’t yet deigned to talk to protesting America face
to face, they are willing to scribble out some complaints on notes and
send them downstairs on silver trays. Courtesy of a remarkable story by Max Abelson at Bloomberg, we now get to hear some of those choice comments.

Home Depot co-founder Bernard Marcus, for instance, is not worried about OWS:

“Who gives a crap about some imbecile?” Marcus said. “Are you kidding me?”

Think Your IRA Is Safe? Better Think Again...

I said about 8 years ago to a colleague at the time, after I really
started to grasp just how fraudulent and corrupt the entire financial
and political system was becoming, that the people who are in a position
to do so will confiscate every last crumb of middle class wealth on the
table.  I said the biggest "crumb" was IRAs and 401k's.  For
definitional purposes, "middle class" means anyone who does not have
enough cash to buy their own Senator or House Rep - that means 99.5% of
the country.  The MF Global bankruptcy is a blueprint for how the
Government and wealthy bankers will begin to take everything that is
kept within the confines of the financial system.
