This next move to remove more of our freedom will create an even stronger two class society. The haves (Wall Street and TBTF corporations like big oil, insurance and pharmaceuticals) will have even more privileged power. That is how it works in non democratic republics. Corruption will run even more wild then it does today. The top class will have immunity (seems like they already have that) while the lower class (the 99%) will live in constant fear. We are not safe in our homes today as the banks can grab our homes, send in thugs to steal our posessions and physically have us removed - all the while our "nationalized" police force stands by and watches.
This is too important to just gloss over. As such, I will add links and posts from Washington's Blog as well.
There is a transformation going on in this country. Some saw it during the rise of Hitler but many in Europe stood by and said it could not happen and there was no danger. My grandfather was one who did not believe he could be affected...he WAS!
There is a danger here in our America. Greed and wealth has infected most of our politicians. They serve not for our country ... they serve for their own personal power and monetary gains. Unexplained greed has overshadowed the basic principals that this country, its' founders and leaders have always stood for.
These are dark days in our history.

From Washington's Blog:
Bush and Obama Are – In Some Ways – Even More Tyrannical Than Hitler and StalinFormer judge and adjunct professor of constitutional law Andrew Napolitano pointed out in March that the president’s claim that he can indefinitely detain prisoners – even after they are acquitted of their crimes – is a power that even Hitler and Stalin didn’t claim:
...Chris Floyd wrote Monday in connection with the new indefinite detention bill:
And whatever the outcome of this particular bill, the reality will remain the same: the President of the United States will continue to claim — and exercise — absolute arbitrary power over the life [yes, the government has also claimed the power to assassinate American citizens without trial or even oversight] and liberty of every person on earth. As we’ve said here before, not even Adolf Hitler or Josef Stalin at their most megalomaniacal ever dreamed of asserting the kind of universal power now asserted by American presidents and the lickspittlish lackeys in the United States Congress.
Strongmen Have Been Scaring their People Into Submission for Thousands of YearsOf course, Obama – like Bush – claims that tyrannical measures are necessary to fight the war on terror. But FBI agents and CIA intelligence officials, constitutional law expert professor Jonathan Turley, Time Magazine, Keith Olbermann and the Washington Post have all said that U.S. government officials “were trying to create an atmosphere of fear in which the American people would give them more power”, and even former Secretary of Homeland Security – Tom Ridge – admits that he was pressured to raise terror alerts to help Bush win reelection.
And Hitler, Stalin and other strongmen throughout history have also claimed that tyrannical measures were necessary to fight their wars on terror:
“This and no other is the root from which a tyrant springs; when he first appears he is a protector.”
“If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.”

Helen Thomas Denounces DC Greed, Fear, War-MongersPioneering White House correspondent Helen Thomas told a National Press Club audience this week that the country is endangered by what she called government leaders’ greed, fear, and subservience to war-mongers. “I came here in 1943,” she told a dinner audience of 30 on Dec. 7, “and I don’t think I’ve ever seen our country so bereft of ideals and ideas. I don’t see anything on the horizon that can pull us out. I hope I’m wrong.”

Anyone who donates money to a charity that turns up on Bush’s list of “terrorist” organizations, or who speaks out against the government’s policies could be declared an “unlawful enemy combatant” and imprisoned indefinitely. That includes American citizens.***
